This plant is listed in the AMWUA booklet for the Phoenix area, however most nurseries will not order it, as other Aloes are much more popular!
Quick Notes:
Height: Up To 3 feet tall.
Flowers: Orange-Red Tubular Flowers.
Flowering Time: Phoenix Arizona, December to February.
Seeds: It produces small brownish seed about 1/2inch long joined with 3 papery disks as a trifoliate wing.
Leaves: Green succulent leaves with thorns on the margins.
Found: Native to the mountains of eastern and central Africa (Uganda, Congo, Rwanda).
