Flat Top Buckwheat
Eriogonum fasciculatum, Buckwheat Family: ( Polygonaceae ) , Flat Top Buckwheat. Also called: California Buckwheat, Eastern Mojave Buckwheat.

A perennial evergreen shrub, up to 3 feet tall, with a 4 foot spread; small gray - green leaves with wooly undersides; pinkish or white flowers, growing in flat clusters.

Water slightly in Phoenix.

Height: 3 foot tall, spread to 4 foot.
Flowers: 1/4 inch long pinkish or white flowers flowers flowers. They grow in flat clusters.
Blooming Time: Late February - November.
Leaves: Leaves are linear, sometimes lobed at their terminal ends, gray-green, up to 3/4 inches long, rolling inward, their undersides are silvery and pubescent.
Found: Found throughout Southern California, Utah, Arizona.
Elevation: 1,000 to 4,500 Feet.
Habitat: Desert soil, rock, does well in loose soil on slopes. Good Xeriscape landscaping plant.
