Flowers: Yellow, flower heads appear at the ends of 12 - 18 inch light green stems. Flowers are composed of 8 to 10 rays.

Leaves: Oblong to oblanceolate gray-green leaves up to 3 inches long.
Found: The USDA claims it is native to the USA (CA). The plant is found from the southern California Coast Ranges, southwestern Sierra Nevada, Transverse Ranges, and the Mojave and Colorado Deserts.
