The Parque Zoológico La Aurora is a wonderful zoological park located in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The zoo has three different main viewing areas, where animals from the America's, Africa & Asia can be observed. When we went to Guatemala City we had no idea that they have a very nice zoo there. We spent half a day there and found it to be more interesting than many zoos we had visited in the United States. We highly recommend taking a few hours to visit the zoo.

We suggest getting a hotel in Guatemala and then letting them arrange either a car or a tour of Guatemala. We prefer Clark Tours, who have been in business for over 80 years. If you call the hotels Concierge Services ahead of your arrival, all of this can be pre-arranged for you. We do this all the time, when traveling in Guatemala. It is safe and it works!!! It serves national and international air traffic for the areas of Flores, Santa Elena, and San Benito, as well as all the Mayan sites like Tikal or Yaxhá and destinations like Guatemala City, Belize and Cancún.
