Arizona Pennyroyal.

Arizona Pennyroyal is a sub - species member of the mint family known by the common name of Pennyroyal. Hedeoma contains a pungent oil said to be a repellent to insects, especially to fleas. Pennyroyal is a native of most parts of Europe and parts of Asia. It also is native to the Americas. It was highly prized for it's medicinal uses. We do not recommend using this plant as a medicine. The bottom photos of the flowers are taken from plants located about 20 feet apart. They have a noticably different color.

Flowers: The plant has small bluish or purplish flowers in the leaf axils.
