We wish to thank Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for some of the information on this page. We share images and information with Wikipedia. Trichocereus Brevispinulosus Is a columnar cacti that grows up to about 6 feet tall, with a stem diameter of about 4 inches. It's stems are dark green with from 14 to 16 ribs, and with short spination. It's flowers are white with light yellow redish-brown colored back petals. Indian Comb Cactus is native to: South America. Trichocereus brevispinulosus is said to have mild medicinal mescaline properties. Once established, Trichocereus Brevispinulosus needs very little water. We recommend that you water it regularly in the summer; when it in full active growth, but little water is needed in the winter. When grown in containers; it is best in a rich well draining soil mix. When planted in the ground; plant it in a slight mound, to keep water away from the base during winter rains. It is very easy to grow!
