It is considered is a collective community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture. The first kibbutz, established in 1909, was Degania. In 2010, there were 270 kibbutzim in Israel. Their factories and farms accounted for 9% of Israel's industrial output. Ein Harod was a kibbutz in Israel between 1921 and 1952, when it split into Ein Harod (Ihud) and Ein Harod (Meuhad). It was located in the north of the country near Mount Gilboa. The kibbutz was founded by pioneers of the Third Aliyah, Russian Jews, in 1921 on a tract of land near Ma'ayan Harod (Harod Spring, mentioned in the Bible (Judges 7:1) as a place of the judge Gideon), and with it, a railway station on the Jezreel Valley railway. The site was located near the battlefield of Ayn Jalut, a battle in which the Mongols were defeated for the first time in 1260. The Museum "Beit Shturman" with collections of nature, archaeology and of the history of the area; is located at this site. Beit Sturman Museum is one of the biggest archaeological museums of the country. The museum also honors Charles Orde Wingate, one of the few British soldiers supporting Zionism.

It was named the best airport in the Middle East by the ACI organisation.[ The airport is located near the city of Lod, 15 km (9 mi) southeast of Tel Aviv. It is operated by the Israel Airports Authority, a government-owned corporation that manages all public airports and border crossings in the State of Israel. The Ben Gurion International Airport is considered one of the world's most secure airports, with a security force that includes both police officers and IDF soldiers. There are several hotels in or near Jerusalem. There are several Guided Tour Agencies offering standard city, and historical tours of Jerusalem, Israel and the surrounding areas. After arranging your flight we would suggest getting your hotel and then letting them arrange tours of the area for you. If you call the hotels Concierge Services ahead of your arrival, all of this can be pre-arranged for you. I do this all the time. It is safe and it works!!!
