An erect, stout, and many - branched perennial semi - evergreen shrub, growing to 18 feet tall, and 15 feet in diameter. It flowers from May to September and reproduces from seed.


Quick Notes:

Height: Up to about 18 feet tall and about 1 - 15 feet wide.

Flowers: Bell shaped lavender flowers.

Flowering Time: May to September.

Seeds: A winged seed, small.

Leaves: Compound, leaflets opposite on pinnae, racine is winged. Leaves have usually three, up to seven small, leatherly leaflets about one inch long.

Found: The USDA claims it is native to the USA (AZ, NM, TX). Native to Southern Trans-Pecos Texas west to New Mexico and southern Arizona. Also native to Mexico in Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Le�n, Zacatecas, and Tamaulipas.
