Height: 6 to 36 inches tall.

Flowers: Blue - Purple pea-like flowers about 1/4 inch long in very elongated clusters. The banner petal has a white center. The white part turns purple when the flower has been pollinated.

Flowering Time: February - May.

Leaves: Green, not hairy, and palmately compound.

Found: Native to California, and adjacent sections of Arizona, and Baja California.
