The site at Manti was dedicated April 25,1877, by President Brigham Young, and after the prayer he was the first to break the ground. Excavation began soon after, and the cornerstones were laid on April 14, 1879. This page contains a sample of the best digital photos and pictures that we have taken of the Manti Utah, Temple. From Salt Lake City, UT: Head north on S Main St toward W 300 S/W Broadway 0.1 miles. Take the 1st left onto W 300 S/W Broadway 0.2 miles. Turn left at W Temple 0.3 miles. Take the 2nd right onto W 500 S/Cesar E. Chavez Blvd 0.6 miles. Then merge onto I-15 S/I-80 E via the ramp to Las Vegas/Cheyenne. Continue to follow I-15 S 82.5 miles. Take exit 225 for 100 N/UT-132 0.3 miles. Turn left at E 100 N/UT-132 E. Continue to follow UT-132 E 21.6 miles. Then turn right at S 400 E St/UT-132 E. Continue to follow UT-132 E 7.4 miles. Turn right at US-89 S 11.6 miles. Turn left at E 200 N St. You are there.
