Asclepias linaria is a good xeriscape landscaping plant in arizona and it is considered a small to medium evergreen perennial shrub; green in color, it has leaves resembling pine tree needles. Some consider the plant a succulant. Butterflies are attracted to it. Especially Monarchs.

Flowers: The flowers are in clusters that are white in color.

Found: The USDA claims it is native to the USA (AZ, CA, NM). It is also native to northwestern Mexico. Chihuahua, Sonora, Baja Norte, & Baja California.
