Bush Morning Glory is a native of the Mediterranean limestone hills, where fertility is fairly low and drainage efficient. It's evergreen foliage is covered in silky silver-grey hairs, and the flowers start as pink buds which open into 3 inch trumpets, with white petals marked with a central pink stripe. It is an evergreen shrub growing rapidly to about 4 feet in diameter, and about 2 - 3 feet tall. Quick Notes: Height: Up To About 2 - 3 feet. Flowers: From 1 1/2 " - 2 1/2" wide. They are are usually white with white stripes. Noticable small yellow center. Flowering Time: In Arizona they bloom Mid March - October. Leaves: Arrow-shaped. About 2 1/2 inches long and alternatively arranged along one side of the stem. Found: Native to the Mediterranean. The species is found in coastal areas of Spain, Italy, Croatia and Albania[1] In Italy it is found on the coast of Tuscany and western Sicily and on the islands of Capri and Li Galli. In Croatia it is found on many of the islands off the coast. It is often found growing in cracks in rocks.
