This attractive, shrubby twining climber gives an almost perpetual display of showy blue-tinged white blossoms. It is a good ornamental cover for fences or walls, or growing across lattice for shade. Semi-evergreen. Full to partial sun. Fast grower, with stems 10 to 18 feet long. All parts of Solanum laxum are toxic! Do not eat them!

Flowering Time: January to December. Year Round. In Phoenix, as long as it stays above freezing temperatures..
Seed Pod: Thorny, globose, walnut-sized 1-1/2 inches in diameter with many small, slender spines.
Leaves: Dark green, ovate-lanceolate, 1-3 inches long, entire or lower ones irregularly pinnately divided.
Found: Native to Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay.
