Pink Rain Lily
Zephyranthes grandiflora, Amaryllis Family: ( Amaryllidaceae ), Pink Rain Lily. Also called: Rosepink Zephyrlily, Rosepink Rain Lily.

Pink Rain Lily, is a clump-forming bulbous perennial plant from native to Northern Mexico and Guatemala. Its rush-like leaves will reach 12 inches. It has small, pink flowers.

Zephyranthes grandiflora is sometimes propagated by division of clumps of bulbs but usually by seed. Fresh seed sown soon after ripening germinate in 3-4 weeks.

Height: About 8 - 12 inches high.
Flowers: The flower is 2 1/2 inch in diameter and pink crocus-like.
Blooming Time: Mid September - early October.
Leaves: Leaves are glossy deep green, 10 - 12 inches long and up to 1/5 inch wide.
Found: Native of Yucatan peninsula in Mexico.
Elevation: 800 - 2,500 Feet.
Habitat: Loves partial shade to full sun with a moist well-drained soil . Do not overwater.
Miscellaneous: Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping.
