An evergreen shrub, growing moderately fast to about 3 feet tall with a 4 feet spread; dark green broad shiny leaves.

Sun Exposure: Full sun to part shade.

Height: Evergreen bush slowly growing to about 3 to 6 feet tall and 3 to 5 feet wide.

Flowers: Bright yellow flowers, 2 inches wide, with 5 red dots, from late spring to the fall.

Blooming Time: Late spring through summer, Especially May - June. They reflower from August to frost, in response to the summer rains.

Leaves: Cordate broad shiny.

Found: Native to Baja California, Mexico.

Elevation: Native from 0 - 2,500 feet.
