Slipper Plant.
We wish to thank Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia for some of the information on this page. We share images and information with Wikipedia. An evergreen succulent about 6 feet tall with a 6 foot spread. It has mostly leafless, light green stems, up to about � inch in diameter, that usually stand straight up, or sometimes are arched. Hummingbirds are attracted to it's flowers. Easy to grow by stem cutting. Some people are sensitive to Euphorbia sap, use gloves when handling.

Height: About 3 feet tall with a 3 foot spread. Can become slightly larger.
Flowers: Pink to red terminal blooms. Resembling a Lady's Slipper. About 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches long.
Flowering Time: Phoenix Arizona, Late June - October.
Leaves: Generally leafless, elongated stems are green (photosynthetic), medium coarse texture.
Stems: Stemless, densely leaved rosette.
Fruit: The fruit is a triangular capsule containing numerous seeds.
Found: Native of Mexico (Sonora, Baja California).
Hardiness: Frost tender. Can be damaged at 30 �F.

Elevation: 0 - 1,500 feet. In Arizona.
Habitat: Sonoran desert, dry and open bushland. Low deserts in the partial shade of cacti or shrubs. Highly drought resistant, but will perform better if watered during the late spring and summer. A Xeriscape Landscape plant.
