Cholla Electric Power Plant

George Audrey DeLange
June 11, 2002

This page contains the best digital photos and pictures that I have taken of the Cholla Electric Power Generating Station near Joseph City, Arizona. We left APS Corporate Office at about 7:30 AM on June 11th. and arrived at Cholla just in time for lunch that same day.

There are four coal burning units at Cholla. Units One, Two, and Three are owned by APS, Unit Four is owned by Pacific Corp. The generating capacity of Cholla is about 995,000 kilowatts. That would supply the city of Tempe, Arizona for one day.

Please enjoy and feel free to e-mail any suggestions or comments that might improve the page.
