Touring Mexico:

The places that we have listed on this page, are for places that you can also visit, if you are touring Mexico.

Most of the sites can be seen by spending about an hour, to an hour and a half on the site. Some require about two hours, and some, such as the National Museum of Anthropology and History, take almost a full day to see.

Simply click on the links listed below, to see our tours of the sites. Feel free to write us if you wish more information.

We wish to thank Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia; for some of the information and photos on our web pages. We share our information and images with Wikipedia.

We are simply two 70+ Year Old Newlyweds, who enjoy traveling. We are not a tour company, but we do try to give good advice to tourists.

We suggest flying into one of the large cities in Mexico and arranging to stay in a local hotel in Mexico. Then, arrange for either a tour, a car, or a local driver, to visit the many interesting places in Mexico.

There are many very good hotels in Mexico, and if you need a place to stay; Priceline.com can arrange that for you too. In fact, we think they are the best way to do it!

We have personally, booked flights, hotels, and vacations, through Priceline.com and we can highly recommend them. Their website is very easy to use!

We have some links to Priceline.com on this page, since they can arrange all of your air flights, hotels, a car, or a tour.

We of course, appreciate your use of the advertising on our pages, since it helps us to keep our pages active.

We also have links on this page, that will connect you with several of the best hotels in Mexico. Hotels that we have personally used!

Another way to safely tour Mexico would be to book a hotel, and then to let them arrange for either a car, or a tour of Mexico. If you call their Concierge Services, ahead of your arrival, all of this can be pre-arranged for you.

You could also make these arrangements through their Concierge Services, after your arrival.

In addition to using Priceline, we have also used the above, last method, many times, when traveling in Mexico. We have also found it to be safe and we have never experienced a problem, doing it that way! -- But, It sometimes, is more expensive than using Priceline!

Also, don't worry too much about having to learn Spanish or another language. Many people in hotels and in transportation, know how to speak English or another language!

We have placed information on this page as to how to obtain very good maps of Mexico, by the Guia Roji Company. These are simply the best maps of Mexico. Some are in English as well as Spanich.

Driving In Mexico:

Driving your car or a rental car in Mexico, is much like driving in the USA. We have driven ourselves around Mexico for many years. In one trip we drove over 7,000 miles.

However, you must have car insurance, and it must be purchased from a Mexican Company. All American, & Canadian Auto Policies are not valid in Mexico.

We have placed advertising for good, reliable Mexican Insurance Companies on our page, in case you wish to investigate purchasing Mexican Auto Insurance.
